Kogi State politician and front line Women Advocate, Princess Layemi Joledo has expressed immense joy with the Confirmation of Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the Director General of the World Trade Organisation.
In a press statement made available to the media in Lokoja, she congratulated the New Director General pointing out that her Confirmation is a first for a Woman and African in the history of the organisation.
Princess Layemi Joledo stressed however that with her pedigree, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is more than qualified for her New office.
Her new job is proof of the intelligence, capability and resilience of the Nigeria Woman to excel in positions of responsibility. Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala gives hope to the Nigerian and African women, that success is achievable at the highest level in life with perseverance and commitment.
Princess Layemi Joledo prayed that all that is required for Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to succeed in her new job, God Almighty will provide for her in abundance.
