One Mr Korede Ahmed, a primary school yoruba teacher is now in the police custody over allegations of defiling one of his pupil in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The suspected rapist according to a police source who spoke under condition of anonymity, said the suspect a Yoruba teacher teach with one of the private primary school, name witheld in Ilorin,
“The suspect was alleged to have taken the 4 years old pupils to the school’s toilet removed her pant and inserted his fingers into her private parts.
“When the girl got home, she complained of pains in her private part, upon the mother’s prodding she narrated what her teacher did.
“The Father of the victim lodged a complaint at our office, Area command, A’division Ilorin this morning (Friday) and we swung into action.
“We were not able to trace the teacher when we arrived the school, so the proprietress, Mrs Toyin Adekanye was invited to our station and detained.
“The accused teacher sensed his secrets are already exposed, so he immediately ran away and turned off his phones. We arrested his father, who inturn called his aunt that stylishly tricked him to come pick up something which enabled us arrest him this evening” he added
Meanwhile the Police Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi who said that he was not aware of the inciden said, “I have not heard about the incident but I will contact the DPO of the Police division concerned and get back to you.”
