Petrol Tanker killed five persons, crushes many vehicles in Kogi

NO fewer than five persons have been confirmed dead in Felele, Lokoja along Lokoja-Abuja high on Monday morning as a result of accident which involved petrol Tanker and other vehicles.
Many vehicles including Keke Napep were also burnt as a result of the fire while many people were also injured
Our reporter who visited the scene gathered that the petrol landing truck lost control as the vehicle was descending at the NNPC filling station Lagos axis when the brake of the truck failed.
Source also disclosed that vehicles and Keke Napepe were all Knocked down by the tanker and the content in the tanker pour on most of the vehicles which led to fire outbreak.
However, men of the Fire Service ruched to the scene to put off the fire. Also most of the filling stations have been closed down while men of the fire service were stationed to prevent the spreed of the fire to other filling stations.
Also the officials of Road Safety Commission were also there to evacuate those that died while people that were injured were all rushed to the hospital in Lokoja.
