The former senator that represented Kogi West in the eight National Assembly, Dino Melaye, has accused some governors under the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) platform of being greedy.
Melaye, who was returned to the ninth National Assembly under PDP before his election was nullified by the court, called out the governors in a post on his Twitter’s handle on Saturday.
He advised the governors to learn from the experience of Joshua Dariye, Orji Kalu, among others.
“PDP Governors practising Greediocracy: Govt of the greedy by the greedy and for the greedy will regret it. Draw inspiration from Dariye,Kalu,Shehu.etc. Demons dont repent. SDM,” he said.
Dino, who is an outspoken PDP member after joining the party from the All Progressives Congress (APC) before the 2019 general elections, did not however, give reason for saying the governors are greedy.
