The Special Adviser on Media to the Kogi State Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, has retained Miss Tosin Toluwaloju, an outgoing National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member who served in his office.

He made this known during a send-forth ceremony held on Wednesday at the Media Centre, Government House, Lokoja.

Hon. Isah commended Miss Tosin Toluwaloju for her exceptional growth, dedication, eagerness to learn, and steadfast support to the team throughout her service year noting that these qualities, along with her professionalism and creativity as a presenter on Lugard Tv were pivotal factors in the decision to retain her.

“Lugard TV which is an extension of the special adviser to the Governor of Kogi state is a place that promotes individual growth and development and It provides a platform that promises so much for our youths in line with the commitment of Governor Ahmed Usman Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to promote and empower young people,” he stated.

The Special Adviser assured of the state’s continued collaboration with the NYSC, stressing the importance of retaining talented corps members as part of building a vibrant and innovative media landscape in Kogi State.

Earlier, the NYSC Local Government Inspector, Mr. Ezekiel Otohinoyi, commended Hon. Isah for his unmatched support for corps members in the state.

He recalled the special adviser’s own service year in Akwa Ibom State in 2005, where he also distinguished himself, and lauded the transformation he has brought to media practice in Kogi State.

He stressed that Hon. Isah has created a home away from home for corps members, describing Miss Toluwaloju as a resilient, hardworking, and exceptionally creative individual.

In her response, Miss Toluwaloju expressed sincere gratitude to the Special Adviser, whom she described as “a father figure who consistently encouraged me to excel.”

She expressed humility at the opportunity to serve in Kogi State, affirmed her commitment to building upon the foundation established during her NYSC year

The send-forth event, attended by staff and management of LugardTV, celebrated Miss Toluwaloju’s service and marked the start of a promising media career. Colleagues took turns to commend her professionalism, humanitarian spirit, and positive impact on the team.
