The chairman of the Kogi State Hajj commission, Sheikh Luqman Imam, has called on the 2019 intending pilgrims to the Holy Land of Makkah to adhere strictly to the laws of the Saudi Arabian kingdom and leadership instructions during the period of the Hajj exercise.

The chairman made the call in Okene , kogi central senatorial district on Sunday during the Medical screening of intending pilgrims to fish out pregnant women and persons with critical and unmanageable health challenges as directed by the National Hajj commission.

The chairman further enjoyed intending pilgrims to be patience and adhere strictly to leadership instructions, saying that there is great reward in obedience and being patience.

He commended the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his support and commitment to ensure the success of the 2019 Hajj exercise and prayed to Allah to grant the Governor successes in all his pursuit.

Speaking during the screening exercise also, the newly appointed Kogi State Amiru-Hajj, Alhaji Baba Ango Idris, commended the intending pilgrims for their cooperation so far.

He enjoyed the intending pilgrims to adhere to the sermons of peace, patience and telerorance as preached by the chairman of the commission.

He called on pilgrims to obey the laws of the the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, saying that they must avoid carrying prohibited items to the Holy Land because of it’s grave consequences.
