Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that no amount of deception by the APC led administration of Governor Yahaya Bello would stop it from the impending loss in the forthcoming November Governorship election in the state.

The party described the allegations of inability to pay salaries as caused by the PDP as another lie by Kingsley Fanwo, Director General Media and Publicity.

The PDP in a swift reaction by Bode Ogunmola, State Publicity Secretary of the party, described the allegation by Kingsley Fanwo while on a TVC program, claimed that the present administration of Gov Bello inherited five months unpaid salaries as another lie from the pit of hell.

The PDP not only called for the withdrawal of the title of Evangelist the DG Media is parading, lamenting that his actions sends negative signals to the body of Christ, urged him to seek for forgiveness from God and apologize to Kogi people for trying to be clever by telling lies.

According to the PDP, the immediate past administration admitted owing one months salaries to Kogi workers, but left the monthly allocation of November and December 2015 which was handed over to the present administration on January 27, 2015.

The present administration the PDP further pointed out also received the January 2016 allocation the administration of Capt Idris Wada worked for in February 2016, wondered why the present administration would want to hide its woeful performance, because it couldn’t commission a single project, by trying to engage in blatant telling of lies.

The PDP lamented that the allocation of November and December 2015, which could not be accessed by the immediate past administration, only because Gov. Bello and the APC led federal government prevented him using their might, was reflected in the handing over notes to the present administration, wondered and lamented why the wait till 2019 April before the APC led administration is now waking up from its slumber, just because of the imminent defeat that is steering it in the face, only to realize that it inherited five months salaries from the past administration.

The PDP described the APC led administration as fraudulent, having received bailout funds, Paris club refunds on three different occasion to settle shortfall of Kogi workers amounting to N5.7billion for state workers and N45billion for Local government workers, but failed to pay, having wasted, fritted away the money into the pockets of a few, thinks it can bamboozle Kogi people with lies.

The PDP disclosed that owing to the least indebtedness of Kogi state amongst states in Nigeria under the Capt Idris Wada administration, it request of N80billion got an approval of N50billion, amount Gov. Bello has collected and wasted on the alter of seeking legitimacy, following his accidental emergence as governor in 2016 without paying the arrears, yet owing preceding months.

The PDP says the peoples verdict on the woeful and abysmal performance of the APC led administration is no longer a secret, described the one term administration of Gov. Bello as the worst ever since creation, with Kogi becoming a state where suicide, kidnapping, prostitution and armed robbery thrives owing to the inept administration forced on the people.

The PDP called on the APC led administration to look elsewhere for where it problems is coming from in getting a second term ticket and not blame the PDP that is now the new bride, having enjoyed wide acceptance by the people, is set to occupy Lugard House in January 2020.

The PDP says without mincing words, Kogi workers are owed between twenty five and seven months, with Judicial workers languishing at home with unpaid salaries of ten months due to an inept leadership.
