Kogi State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ugbede Paul has assured of his readiness to partner with relevant stakeholders to project the cultural heritage of the state to Nigerians and beyond.
Ugbede who Stated this while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja said massive preparation is ongoing to move the ministry to the next level of activities that will attract the attention of both fun seekers and historical researchers.
According to him, the state will soon witness the exhibition of cultural attire which is a unique textile that would depict the major ethnic groups of the state.
He explained that most of the historical site in the state are currently undergoing reconstruction particularly the European Cementary, Mount Pati and Confluence Point adding that the State is endowed with major national identities of the country.
The Commissioner also assured that the state will also celebrate its annual Cultural Carnival and the Face of Kogi which he personally initiated and urged relevant stakeholders and cooperate organizations to partner with the state government to promote Culture and Tourism.
He also appealed to supporters of the party to be steadfast in their support and vote for its candidate across board.
