Kogi NYCN critical stakeholders describes activities of CCPC illegal, unconstitutional

Critical Stakeholders of the Kogi State Chapter, National Youth Council of Nigeria, arising from a meeting have described the activities of the newly constituted Central Congress Planning Committee by the Council as illegal and fraudulent.
The NYCN critical stakeholders at a meeting held at the NUJ Press Centre described the CCPC as alien to the NYCN, advised the general public to desist from associating with them.
Addressing newsmen after the meeting, Isiak Suleman and Comr. Alfa Ebune, allegedly accused the CCPC stating that the money collected from the various Local Government Areas as completely illegal and fraudulent.
The stakeholders equally accused the present Chairman of NYCN, Kogi State Chapter as using the Council Chair to divide the State Youth Council for his personal gains.
The NYCN critical stakeholders described the Congress supervised by the CCPC in Kogi, Ajaokuta, Ijumu, Kabba Bunu and the one recently held in Yagba East LGA amongst other areas as illegal, lamented that it has generated problems that has undermined the essence and harmony of the Council.
The Stakeholders described the division within the State Council as one created by the incumbent State NYCN Chairman in conjunction with the CCPC, said enough is enough.
The critical stakeholders further described the issue of tenure elongation, extension or in whatever nomenclature being hatched and planned by the CCPC towards extending the tenure of the present council as unconstitutional, illegal and unacceptable.
While pointing out that the tenure of the present Executives ends on May 12, 2021, said any sinister plans would not be accepted to the critical stakeholders.
The critical stakeholders at the meeting specifically mentioned and urged Comr. Oputu, Comr. Bala Ibrahim, Godwin Emmanuel, Comr. Faruk Suleman Mazai, to halt their activities with immediately, described the CCPC as illegal.
The critical stakeholders concluded by saying that any attempt to further bring the council to disrepute by the continued activities of the CCPC as regards the tenure elongation and those of the local chapter congress will be met with focus and determined resistance.
