The convener of Ododo School-to-School Campaign, Comrade Jelil Adabara has reiterated the need for overwhelming support for the success of All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the November 11 Kogi election, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
In another message to the people, Abdullelil Adabara, who is fondly called Comrade for his great strides in student days struggle and his unfathomable emotion in education, praised Ododo as man whose integrity and leadership qualities remain unassailable.
He delivered the message in a meeting with stakeholders Hon. Ahmed Tijani Yusuf Damisa-led Asuehi Support Group.
Aside educating and mobilizing students to support Ododo in the gubernatorial election, Comrade Jelil said that he would use his capacity as one of the leaders of the Asuehi Support Group and a foot solder of Hon. Tijani Damisa to work round the clock for the electoral victory of the APC candidate.
He pointed to the numerous achievements Alh Ododo during his service to Kogi state as the Auditor General for Local Government.
According to him, Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman brought innovation and new ideas to the development of financial management of local governments in Kogi state.
He added that Alh. Ododo is down-to-earth in solidifying Yahaya Bello’s government service delivery of making Kogi a better zone for living in the country.
According to Jelil, through this reflection, Ododo has embarked on sweeping political reforms in the humanitarian services of the state thereby bringing a lot of people into the net of social investment programmes in the name of his political benefactor, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
He said APC has taken the best decision by picking the former LG Auditor General as its standard bearer, adding that the candidate has the capacity to take the state to the next height for the betterment of the people.
“Ododo has been tested and trusted in various capacities, ranging from private banking sector to public sector.
“You will agree with me that he delivered excellently, therefore he will bring such experience to Kogi State leadership,’’ Adabara said.
The group’s leader said that Confluence journey to greatness has taken a renewed direction with the emergence of the seasoned financial administrator.
He added that Ododo’s candidature is an unmistakable choice in the realm of Nigeria political firmament and he will consolidate on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Yahaya Bello in the state.
Adabara, who noted that political disagreement is a desirable element in politics and a necessary feature of democracy, called on the aggrieved members of APC to bury their hatched in the interest of the great party.
He urged Kogites to continue to support democracy in spite of its challenges, saying that “worst democracy is better than the best military rule’’.
