Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Shehu Mohammed Dalijan has paraded two suspects, Mansur Haruna and Ibrahim Nababa, who killed a veteran journalist, Hamisu Danjibga in the State.
Parading the suspects on Tuesday evening at the police command headquarters in Gusau, the police commissioner Shehu Dalijan said Late Hamisu Danjibga a reporter with Voice of Nigeria was killed by his nephew Mansur Haruna and his friend.
He said the two suspects were arrested when the police swung into action following the killing of late journalist Hamisu Danjibga.
According to the commissioner, the two culprits have confessed to committing the act.
In their confessional statement, the two killers of veteran journalist have explained that they used knife and cutlass to kill him.
“I knocked his door and he asked me who was that,I said I’m the one Mansur,he than open the door,me and my friend tried to bring him out to a Conner and he resisted,I than stabbed him twice on the stomach”. Mansur (Nephew) confessed.
“When he resisted I stroke his neck with cutlass and he slumped, We noticed that he died and put him on the suck away,” Ibrahim Nababa stated.
