A suspected kidnapper, Bashiru Sule, has revealed that he kidnaps people from motor parks and delivers them to kidnappers hideouts. 25-year-old Bashiru recently confessed some of his activities when the Nigerian Police Force paraded suspected criminals and their gangs.
The criminal activities of kidnappers across the country have raised concerns among Nigerians. There have been reports of people getting abducted on the highways in their homes and schools. In most cases, the abductors demand significant sums of money and material items from their victim’s families. Some victims have also died in the captivity of their abductors.
The Nigerian police have arrested and paraded a gang of suspected kidnappers, terrorizing the Northern part of the country. Police Spokesman, Frank Mba, was at the parade of the suspected kidnappers and other suspected criminals.
Revealing his activities, Bashiru Sule said, “I often drive to motor parks to pick up my victims with a vehicle. I would then call other gang members on a mobile phone, and they will direct me to our meeting point.”
Speaking during the Parade, Frank Mba said, “The responsibility on the managers of our motor parks is the need for them to be more detailed in carrying out their job. They should try to have their local intelligence and work with the local police stations and other security networks within their areas of operation.”
