A political group working for the re-election of Governor Yahaya Bello as kogi State Governor, GYB Frontiers, has commended the National working committee of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), for the transparent manner it handled the recent screening exercise of aspirants in the state.

In State signed by the chairman and Secretary General of the group, Alhaji Hans Muhammed and Abdulateef Onusi respectively and made available to journalists in Lokoja, said only committed party members and people of proven integrity should be allowed to fly the ticket of the APC in kogi state.

They maintained that their support for Governor Yahaya Bello was borne out of their conviction that the Governor has been able to work for the progress of the party in the state.

They noted that this was responsible for the successes recorded by the party in the recent presidential, National and state Houses of Assembly elections in the state.

According to the group, the governor has also recorded huge successes in the provision of critical infrastructures like, building of healthcare centers across the state, construction of rural roads and reconstruction of existing ones.

They added that governor Bello has surpassed his predecessors in terms of human capital development, youths and women development, security of lives and property and Unity of the various ethnic groups in kogi state.

They called on APC delegates and the people of the state to vote massively for Governor Yahaya Bello in the primary election of APC slated for 29 August, 2019 and the governorship election coming up on 16 November, 2019.

The group called on INEC and the security agents to ensure a transparent, free, Fair and credible election, assuring that Governor Bello would be victorious.
