The President of Ojikpadala Ward’s Sons, Daughters at Home & Diaspora Organisation, Comrade Peter Abuh said bestowing LifeTime Achievements Award on the former President, Alh M.L Ibrahim was in recognition of his performance and selfless service to humanity during his two terms.

Comrade Abuh gave the charge while conferring an Award of Achievements on the former President of Egume-Ome Descendants Union (EODU) Alh. Mohammed Lawal Ibrahim on behalf of the organisation.

“We are presenting this certificate of ‘Achievement Award’ in recognition of your outstanding support and commitment to the growth and development of the great union and it’s immediate environs during your tenure as the national President.” He said.

He therefore reiterated the commitment of members to work as a team for the growth of EODU and the Organisation, promised to remain law abiding citizens and to always work in harmony towards the development of their land.

In his response, the immediate past national President of Egume-Ome Descendants Union (EODU), Alhaji Mohammed Lawal Ibrahim said “this meritorious Award is dedicated to all Sons and Daughters of Egume-Ome community for their moral and financial contributions towards the success of my administration.”

“I’m most grateful to the leadership of Ojikpadala Ward’s Sons and Daughters for conferring on me a LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT Award for my little contribution to the development struggle in our community.”

“It’s worthy of note that people take cognizance of our little contributions towards infrastructural development, maintenance of peace and the security of property and lives of the citizenry in Egume community and its environs.”

The former President who pointed out that the Award will not only spur him to render more services to the community but promised to seize any available opportunity to contribute his quota towards infrastructural upliftment of the community.

He therefore charged the Youths in the area not to relent in their efforts to ensure that lives and property are protected warning that under no provocation will they take law into their hands.

Alhaji Ibrahim enjoined the Youths in Ojikpadala ward to work in synergy with their Vigilante group to build a formidable security architecture of the area.

Alh. M.L Ibrahim was the national President of Egume-Ome Descendants Union, (EODU), Egume in Dekina LGA, Kogi state between 2019-2023 respectively.
