A political group which participated actively in the election that produced Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as president of Nigeria,
Team Gamji For Tinubu/Shettima, has called on the President to consider the inclusion of Alhaji (Dr), Sanusi Abubakar Gamji, in the next batch of ministerial nominees because of valuable contribution to the success story.
The group stated this on Tuesday in a Press conference in Abuja, titled
‘Alhaji Abubakar Sanusi Gamji An Impeccable Choice as Kogi state nominee in the Renewed Hope cabinet’
The leader of the group Alhaji Hassan Mohammed, who read the statement on behalf of the group, noted that as governance in the country enters a new level with the announcement of the first batch of the new cabinet of the renewed hope administration which expectedly parade an array of intelligent and capable personalities from across the country, one state which deserves to feature prominently given its contribution to the APC 2023 electoral effort is Kogi state and one personality who has done extraordinarly well in that regard is Alhaji (Dr) Sanusi Abubakar Gamji the Chairman /CEO Gàmji Group.
They described Gamji as a man of rare and exceptional qualities, a philanthropist per excellence, a grassroot mobilizer whose wealth of experience made tremendous impact in the APC general election campaign drive.
The group added that as the Chairman of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Kogi state chapter and Coordinator, North Central region for the then aspirant Tinubu, he canvassed vigorously for delegates for Asiwaju Tinubu during the APC presidential Primaries convention, an effort which paid off handsomely judging by the results/votes pattern from especially North Central Nigeria.
“Suffice to say that Alh Sanusi Abubakar Gamji as a pioneer member of the planning and strategy committee of Asiwaju for President and the only one from Kogi Central in collaboration and company of prominent Nigerians were saddled with the responsibility to strategize for Asiwaju during the primaries and we are glad that the committee did very well.
“little wonder why he was subsequently made the Director, Protocol and events, (North) of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC). He was also made the Coordinator for Kogi state under the Independent Campaign Council (ICC) and also chairman of the committee on Data, Research and monitoring of the ICC, committing his personal resources and time.
“We are excited and honoured because it is a victory for the faith and hope of our principal, Alh (Dr) Sanusi Abubakar Gamji in the qualities and potential of the then aspirant, later candidate and by the grace of God, now President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Alhaji (Dr) Sanusi Abubakar Gamji is presently the Chairman of Kogi State Elders Forum which consist of notable personalities like Senator Dangana, Chief Dan Okoli, Engr Maimuna Audu, Admiral Jibril, Hajia Salamatu Baiwa (former APC Women leader), Hon Abdullahi Bello, Hon. Mohammad Sadiq, Hon. Abdullahi Sadiq, Chief Oluwo Dolla and Chief Adeniyi Ayodele. This caliber of personalities also worked together with Alh Sanusi Abubakar to deliver Kogi state during the general election for President Asiwaju.
