The Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Yahaya Bello has approved the appointments and redeployment of some Government Officials as follows:

1- Former Special Adviser to the Governor on health , Dr. Ahmed Attah is now the Chief Medical Director, Kogi State Specialist Hospital.

2- Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto; State’s Coordinator, Nigerian Erosion and Watershed Management Project, NEWMAP is to also act as Special Adviser to the Governor on Multilateral and Donor Agencies.

3- Prince Abdulkareem Onyekeyi as Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Projects and State’s Focal Person on Social Investment Programmes.

4- Hon Sunday Onaji appointed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Health

5- Hon Moses Atakpa as Chairman, Kogi East Elders’s Advisory Council, representing Kogi East Senatorial District.

6- Hon Samuel Akowe Idrisu as Chairman, Elders’ Advisory Council, Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency.

7- Hon Adukwu Ojodale as Chairman, Elders’ Advisory Council, representing Idah Federal Constituency.

8- Hon Haruna Shuaibu Ameh as Chairman, Elders’ Advisory Council, Ankpa Federal Constituency.

9- Hon Halidu Adejoh Usman as Secretary, Idah Local Government Administrative Team to replace Hon Adejoh Ademu who is redeployed to be Member, Idah Local Government Administrative Team.

10- Alih Enemi as Secretary, Dekina Local Government Administrative Team

11- Umoru Rabiu as Member, Dekina Local Government Administrative Team. Hon Umoru is to replace Musa Ahmed Sa’adu.

12- Hon Alilu Omaga, Former Secretary, Ofu Local Government Area administrative team is redeployed to Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Rural Development.
He is replaced by Hon Alilu Shuaibu.

Hon Samuel Akowe Idris, Hon Ojodale replaced Salami Abdullahi (ASTA) and Yakubu Ugwolawo respectively. While Dr Moses Atakpa replaced late Alhaji Ibrahim Linco Ocheje as Elders’ Advisory Council, Kogi East.

The appointments and redeployments are with immediate effect.
