Gov. Ododo Appoints Ex-Kogi Speaker, Kolawole Executive Directors, Others of Kogi Oil Producing Dev’t Commission

Kogi Sate Governor, Alhaji. Ahmed Ododo has approved the composition of the State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission.

Among those appointed is the Former Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole as the Executive director of Kogi Oil Producing Dev’t Commission.

This is coming few days after the Governor signed the law establishing the Commission.

According to a statement by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade, those appointed are; Omonu Jackson James, Managing Director, Suleiman Ndalaye, Chairman and Olushola Matthew Kolawole as Executive Director.

Others appointed as Executive Directors are; Isah Yakubu Jatto, Usman Nda Muhammed and Olori Michael, while Abubakar Tenimu Musa and Alhassan Obansa Sanni are representatives of Ministries of Finance and Justice respectively.

It noted that Suleiman Hammed was appointed Secretary of the Commission with Anejodo Emmanuel Awuja appointed as representative of Anocha, one of the oil producing communities.

The rest representatives of the oil producing communities are; Omattah Emmanuel Abuh for Odeke, Onema Edoja John, Ihile, Amajeh Felix Ele-ojo, Echeno and Aloguwja Utenwuojo for Obale community.

While Governor Ododo congratulated the appointees, the appointment is with immediate effect.
