In a bid to promote and reward academic excellence amongst youths as well as assist indigent students , the proprietor of Silver Valley International College Kabba, Engr Tunde Olorunnaiye, has instituted a scholarship for very bright secondary school students of Kogi State origins and residents.
According to a statement signed by Engr Tunde Olorunnaiye and made available to news men, the scholarship is for bright and talented students.
The scholarship, according to the statement is an annual merit-based scholarship for the brightest students of Kogi state origin as well as residents to study at SilverValley International College, Kabba.
It described the college as a leading international school in the state equipped with world class facilities with qualified and motivated teachers.
The proprietor revealed that the said scholarship covers tuition,feeding,books and uniform for students who excelled in the scholarship examination.
He reiterated that the scholarship is exclusively for the brightest students with exceptional intellect to join the college in JS1 or JS2 2020/2021 Academic session.
“Awardees are expected to sustain their outstanding performances throughout their education in the college” the proprietor added.
The statement further disclosed that the maiden examination for the scholarship will hold on Saturday, October 24,2020 by 10am at the College premises,opposite Kabba General hospital, Kabba.
