The Conference of Registered Political Parties (CRPP) Kogi State chapter has said that Hon. Engr. Abubakar Ohere has left a good track record in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs under Governor Yahaya Bello (GYB) administration.

This was contained in a press statement issued by Alhaji Mohammed Lawal
the Public Relation Officer of the Conference of Registered Political Parties Kogi State Chapter (CRPP).

The statement read thus, “The forum of registered political parties in Kogi State has beamed our search light in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs since the inception of his tenure as Special Adviser.

“Due to commitment and sense of duty in handling the Ministry in the most transparent manner, the conference of Registered Political Parties gave him an award of selfless and dedication to duty.

“What struck us in the forum at a time was the voluntary transfer of payment of teacher’s salaries to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) any selfish and corrupt officer will frustrate such move to enable him embezzle teacher’s salaries.

“Its worthy of note that traditional rulers enjoy more living wages under his management than any other commissioner since inceptions of this political administration.
It is most unfortunate for the misleading publication to tarnish the political image of Hon. Abubakar Ohere. The whooping account balances in the various account published are verifiable through BVN in all banking transactions.

“We therefore condemn the publication of this speculative news tantamount to destroying the good image he has carved in the ministry.
We suggest that the authors of this malicious and faceless organization that specializes in destroying political personalities who are performing in their areas of calling be dealt-with to serve as deterrent to fake news carriers.

“These allegations to us is frivolous and unfounded. If the accuser is sure of his allegations he should direct it to the appropriate authority instead of social media propaganda in order to smear the good name of Hon. (Engr.) Abubakar Ohere. He has built an image over the years as the Special Adviser under GYB administration. In fact, he has carved an image for himself in the ministry.

“The forum of registered political parties under our watch in the state categorically states that Hon Engr. Abubakar Ohere has proven himself beyond reasonable doubt under New Direction Agenda in human and physical development of the ministry of Local Govt. Chieftaincy affairs.
We therefore unequivocally pass a vote of confidence on him to continue to handle the ministry with due diligence.
