The Minister of state for Transportation Sen Gbemisola Saraki has urged Nigerians not to play blame game but find solution to the enormous challenges confronting the nation
Saraki who made the call at a round table dialogue with youths and women in Kwara state said she was in the state given the mandate of president Muhammadu Buhari for all the ministers to come back to their respective states to dialogue with the youth as the administration target youths, women and vulnerable people in the society
Sen Gbemisola Saraki who added that every segment of the society abuse power stress the need for lasting solution, “we all know the problem we shall find the solution, people abuse power, teachers, parents, leaders men and women in uniform abuse power” she said
The Minister stressed the need for the youths to take advantage of the federal government youth programmes
The Minster who noted that the demonstration of the endsars protest was hijacked by hoodlums sympathise with the family of the bereaved
Saraki who also added that social media messages should not be shared anyhow, kicked against the misused of the platform as government would not shut it down ” the responsibility is for everybody to pass on the right information” she said.
Speaking further, Prince Ibrahim from Gambia who accompany the senator for the round table dialogue with the youth and women in Kwara state called for sustainable dialogue , for sustainable solution to the problem as he stressed the need for promotion of peace.
He added that his foundation which has been youth empowerment, vocational training programme for Nigeria youth, expressed its readiness to train youth in Kwara state on entrepreneur as he dole out N5 Million to them.
However, representative of various group leaders which include national Association of Nigeria student Kwara state, ENDSARS conveyer in Kwara state, online media, Npower amongst others who spoke their mind call for for the end of oppression instead of endsars, they also called on the government to create the enabling environment for the youth to prosper added the youths protest before the ENDSARS is for the government to do the needful as they also condemned the account of some protesters being frozen and members arrested
They also stressed the need to reform all uniform officer, end oppression, lack of data, decay educational system, intellectualism
Meanwhile the Kwara state Director National Directorate for Employment NDE Adeyemo G. A said the government has designed programme that would combat mass unemployment, added its mandate include rural promotion programme, unemployed youth on animal husbandry, dry season farming, training on how to run business, graduate attachment programme and others which the youth can also key into.
