Deeper Life High School, Uyo Campus Suspends Principal 

The management of Deeper Life High School, Akwa Ibom, has finally responded to a viral video of woman who accused the school of poor treatment of her child.

The 11 year old JSS 1 student whose name was not mentioned, narrated his ordeal in a video interview with his mum.

His disappointed mother, while in a video interview, complained bitterly of how her son looked emaciated due to poor feeding and inadequate medical treatment.

The affected student also suffered sexual molestation after being moved to the hostel meant for senior students.

His mum revealed she earlier had terrible dream about her son which prompted her to go see her son in school and while she inquired of her boy to know what had happened to him,he refused to disclose anything because of the threats he received from the deviant senior students.

This horrible news has provoked reactions from many Nigerians and has been widely discussed in the past few days.

In a swift response,the school management has swung into action beginning with the suspension of its principal and is currently carrying out a thorough investigation on the matter.

The circular released by the school partly reads: “We want to assure the general public that investigations into the case have commenced and no culprit whether staff or student,will be spared if found culpable at the end of the exercise”.

The school management categorically restated it’s intolerance for nefarious activities and assured the general public that the culprits will be brought to book.
