The Kogi West Senatorial District Rerun election between Sen. Dino Melaye and Sen. Smart Adeyemi, would now hold same day with the State Governorship election.
A statement released on Monday by the Independent National Electoral Commission, says the election between Sen. Melaye of the PDP and Sen. Smart comes up on 16th November, 2019.
Recalled the the Appeal Court had nullified the election won by Sen. Melaye, thus ordering for a run following what it described as irregularities.
The Kogi state governorship election with Gov. Yahaya Bello, incumbent governor has earlier been scheduled for November 16.
