Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Wednesday sacked the the suspended Commissioner of Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, (SIEC) Hon. Emmanuel Folorunsho Olorunfemi from office.
This follow the recommendation by Kogi state House of Assembly to the governor after investigating some allegations leveled against him through a petition to the state House of Assembly.
He was removed from office for gross misconduct.
Meanwhile, the Governor has appointed Hon. George Funsho Ojo as the new Commissioner of Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission from Kabba/Bunu.
