The paramount ruler of Oweland
and the Obaro of Kabba who is also the Chairman, Okun Area Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi said it has become very important for all indigenes of Kabba/Okun nation to come back home to invest in any of the sectors of the area’s economy as no one can develop the community like the indigenes themselves.
The monarch disclosed this on Saturday in Kabba while declaring open the multimillion naira 3Ds Dynasty Superstore to commence operation.
The Royal Father commended the management of the company for considering Kabba for the gigantic investment, stressing that the era of witches and wizard is over as no one is interested in killing anyone again as every family is eager to be counted for the good things of life, saying that the traditional institution under his watch is ready to work with anyone that is development driven in the area.
He charged the people not to entertain any fear, noting that fear is a disease itself that could debar people in achieving their aims, urging all interested investors to come home to invest in their various communities.
He said with the purposeful leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello and with cooperation and support of the security agents and other stakeholders the area is relatively conducive for investment, charged the security agents in the area to intensify more efforts on surveillance to curb any eventual security breach.
He further commended the Governor for the ongoing construction and rehabilitation of Kabba township roads , pointing out that this is the first time in many decades that the community is witnessing such a monumental project, urging him to consider Kabba Central Market road and other roads to be attended to.
He called on the Federal government, other well meaning organizations and individuals to establish a tertiary institution like university in the area, noting that Okun nation is known as an academics community, hence the need to have such institutions for the overall development of the area.
Also speaking the President-General of Kabba Development Union, Engr. Emmanuel Ajibero commended the efforts of the management of the 3Ds Superstore, Kabba for building such an edifice that houses various businesses, noting that it is a plus for the community and the best in Kogi State.
He described the Dynasty Plaza, Kabba as a one stop shop that have various businesses like Super market, Lounge & Bar, Unisex Studio pharmacy and Bakery.
He charged the residents of Kogi State and environ to patronize one of the newly established Superstores in the state, praying that more of such projects would be established not only in Kabba metropolis but Okun land in particular and Kogi State at large.
The management thanked and appreciated the traditional rulers and other stakeholders for the support and cooperation since the project commenced some years ago.
They assured their potential customers of better services,and appealed for patronages.
