The Ologidi of Ogidi in Ijumu Local Government Area, Kogi State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule is to invest the Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State Governor on Due Process, Hon (Mrs) Bosede Fashagba Olupeka with the chieftaincy title of Yeye Gbadega of Ogidi.
A palace announcement in Ogidi said the veteran politician is being honoured for his contributions towards the development of Ogidi and her role in mobilising the womenfolk for active participation in community development efforts.
The investiture ceremony will take place in the Ologidi’s palace on Ogidi Day, Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 9 am.
Scores of family members, friends, admirers and political associates of the politician have made commitments to be in attendance at the event to which people from Lokoja, Ijumu and Kabba/Bunu Local Government Areas are looking forward.
Hon Olupeka said she was thrilled that the highly exalted Ologidi throne considered her worthy of the honour.
She promised to continue to deploy her resources and energy towards the development of Ogidi.
