Rt Honourable Aliyu Muktar Betara is the chairman House Committee On Appropriation representing Kwaya Kusar,Biu,Sani Bayo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in the 9th Assembly.
A ranking member of the green chamber,who has dedicated his years as a federal lawmaker to the services of humanity and Humanitatian activities to ensure a better life not only for the privileged ones, but the ruralites.
His representation of the three major communities that formed the federal constituency is laced with equity, transparency and accountability not only to his immediate community,but the entire federal constituency.
Aliyu Muktar Betara is known to be alive to his responsibility in the areas of provision of job/employment opportunities, appointments, empowerment,charity ,skill and capacity developement to all the nooks and crannies of the federal constituency.
Hon Betara’s appointment as chairman House Committee on appropriation with his wealth of experience as a seasoned lawmaker, attracted alot of infrastructural developement to his constituency.
The recent attraction of a multi million naira mini stadium to Kwaya Kusar will reawaken the comatose sports activities of all shades back to the federal constituency,that will guarantee the deployment of extra curricular activities and will maintain unity, peaceful co-existence as well as guarantee self developement,along with self sustenance in the various sporting activities.
The decision to attract a standard mini stadium will also encourage youths from the areas in engagement of various sports activities, that will showcase the indigenes of the area,Borno State into the global world,looking at sports as a veritable tools to both economic and political development as well as emancipation.
This will also attract local,interstate,inter geopolitical competition and international engagements around his constituency,Borno State that will detach the age long civil strife and revert the consciousness of the people to the prevailing modest activities.
With the new mini stadium and sports competition,both state and federal government will provide more attention both in management, securtiy and sustenance of the people of the area,Borno State.
This is also in addition to his routine empowerment,skill acquisition and capacity building programs to the people of his constituency, that had placed them at a vantage position in all areas.
His economic empowerment and charitable programs through distribution of various items that had placed the indigents,less privileged and the vulnerable in the state into self existence,had contributed alot to the economic, social emancipation of Biu federal constituency.
His ressolve through provision of pipe borne water with boreholes ,transformers for electricity,rural roads to encourage farming and movement and farm products as well as movement of cattles and others,has made life more meaningful to the people of the area.
In the last two years of the 9th Assembly,the federal Lawmaker has improved on his performances over the previous years and determined to do more for the betterment of the people of his Constituents and by extension the generalty of Nigerians.
With determination and his desire,the ressolve to move the people of his constituency from the poverty ridden,war torn position to a beffiting society is already in sight.
