A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress in Kogi State, Hon. Sulaiman Baba Ali has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election.
This was contained in a statement signed by Hon. Ahmed Yakubu , Personal Assistant to the former commissioner and made available to journalists in Lokoja .
He said Buhari’s success at the just concluded poll was a reflection of his good and visionary leadership over the last four years.
“You have led Nigeria and our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to an unprecedented height within fours years, and in so doing, written the most important chapter of our democracy”, the statement added.
He urged Nigerians to remain calm and peaceful during the Saturday Governorship and House of Assembly election stressing that, “this election has further demonstrated that democracy has come to stay in our country.”
He commended the people of Lokoja for voting enmass at the last presidential and National Assembly election urging them to come out come out and vote all APC candidates.
