Senator representing kogi east at the National Assembly, Senator Atai Aidoko has appealed to the good people of the area both at home and in the diaspora, and supporters of PDP, to doscountenace the purported letter from AM Isaac Mohammed Alfa(Rtd), directing the people to vote against the party’s candidate,as evidence of a drowing man without political value
A statement issued by the media office and signed by Abubakar Yusuf,challenged the former Air chief to render stewardship of over 35 years in the public service of the Nigerian Air force, were he rose to the top echelon and the positive impact on the immediate family and by extension the people of kogi east
Yusuf described the statement from the former service chief as unbecoming,mischievous,malicious and prejudicial with both cases still subject to legal interpretation,been supported by both the kogi state and federal authorities to hijack the victory of the people of kogi east
The media aide said according to the letter from the former service chief, were he accused the senator of “ROGUE and FALSE Documnent to INEC” should not be taken serious, as he cannot play a dual role of a player and a referee, in a football compettion, like the game of democracy
He said that INEC has the temerity and clear provision of fielding of candidates of political parties in an election,the prerequisite that senator Aidoko had fulfilled and the name published as kogi east senatorial candidate for PDP in 2019 general elections
Yusuf told the kogi easterners that what Alfa is demonstrating, is a script arranged and agreed between agents of kogi state government and federal authorities to place the people of kogi east in a perpetual denial, and access to social,economic and physical development of the area
” For somebody who had claimed victory at all levels of court and challenging the 2018 PDP primaries in the court of law,yet working against the election of the party’s candidate is a testimony of a betrayal of the igala/Bassa race,public confidence and party loyalty ”
“AM Alfa is a mole in PDP, working with top government officials in kogi to buy court judgements all round and subject the Igala race to endless litigation of the senate stool, capable of distracting the senator from delivering the dividends of democracy to the people in the next four years ”
” He succeeded in doing this in the last four years from 2015 to date ,and he has started again,saying the people of kogi east should by now identify him as enemy of the igala/Bassa race,who never meant well for the area”
“For a public figure in that category, that lost all his glory to the whims and caprices of his wife’s undoing in a public gathering,does not deserve to be honoured by the people of kogi east with any political office at all”
” This is a man whose relationship with the immediate family members and some of his biological children had gone sour,over the domination of his wife and activities tailored towards her extraction,with his family left with nothing to benefit,does not deserve to hold public/political office of any sort”
He urged the people of kogi east to remain steadfast not to only vote senator Aidoko over his ranking advantage and political affiliation to PDP, but vote massively on saturday for all PDP candidates from top to button,to ensure the termination of hardship,poverty and starvation imposed by the government of Yahaya Bello and Buhari.Yusuf appealed.
