However, when the information got to the chairman of Adavi local government council, Hon. Omuya Salami he promptly rushed to the hospital where he was hospitalized, making sure he’s responding to treatment and offset the hospital bills.
Some days after AbdulRasheed is being discharged, the Council Chairman invited him over to his office to find out the reasons behind those suicide attempts.
According to Abdul Rasheed; he said he is tired of living in pain without hope of a better tomorrow as he could not even help his Younger brother to further his studies to secondary level after his primary education.
Honourable Joseph Omuya Salami haven listened to the boy’s predicament, he picked interest in the case and showed the humanitarian in him in the life of the unhappy young man and also extends help to other members of that family which include: the grandmother, the boy’s younger brother, the uncle and his wife.
The Adavi Local Government Chairman declared that he will take over responsibilities of the boy and his other sibling, instantly supported the grandmother to AbdulRasheed with some amount of money to start from somewhere, register AbdulRasheed with a standard fashion house that has professionally advanced tailor, encouraged him to learn fast as his government will empower him with every needed equipment required to stand on his own.
Hon. Joseph Omuya also promised to enroll Yunusa the younger brother in Secondary School as soon as the new session commenced.
The favored family could not hold back tears of joy as they prayed for Governor Yahaya Bello who supported the emergence of Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami as the Chairman of Adavi local government and also prayed Allah to continue to guide, guard and uplift their benefactor.
