HRM Blessing Aisha Ekele, a Governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the last gubernatorial election in kogi state has described governor Yahaya Bello as a reformist and voice of the voiceless, whose emergence in the corridor of power has given hope to the common man in the streets.
She disclosed this in Lokoja shortly after Justice Nasiru Ajanah, the state Chief judge administered oath of office on Governor Yahaya Bello and his deputy , chief Edward Onoja for his second term of office at the government house.
She stressed that governor Bello is one pragmatic leader that have left an indelible marks of achievements on the sand of times in the confluence areas, that will be difficult to cancel in years ahead because of its deep positive impact on the people.
“Honour must be given to those that matters in the society. Governor Yahaya Bello has proved that he is a game changer that should be highly respected and honoured in the community of leaders in kogi, because of the new narratives he introduced in act of governance.
“He brought smiles to the youths and women who will never think of playing a role in the anal of kogi struggle by introducing them into his government at very strategic areas ,and today ,he has produced new brand of generation of leaders by that experiment.
By that decision alone, he has been able to marry the wisdom of the elders and the exuberance of the youth to get a very good result with elastic effect in the transformation of the state” , she expressed.
Ekele stated further that no changes in history of mankind that will not attract criticisms and pains, but with times, the reformist will be vindicated and the reformed will be transformed, stressing that governor Bello remains the real reformer in our generation who have come to the political turf to change kogi, for a better tomorrow.
“This great leader therefore needs our support and cooperation to transform this state that was bastardised by some previous administrations to join committee of great states in this country, since the governor has insisted “he want to do more” for his good people of kogi in his second term of office.
The APC staunch member, Ekele from Igah in Olamaboro local government and who is an apostle of politics without bitterness joins millions of people to congratulate governor Bello for kicking off his second term administration with fanfare on monday, as he has started fixing egg heads that will translate his next level agenda for the benefit of kogi people without delay.
Also, she congratulated chief Edward Onoja, the state deputy governor, for his loyalty and poise, party leadership, both at the state and national level and party stalwarts for their role in the last election which has made it possible for governor Bello to revalidate his second term mandate which has become a reality this month.
