‎The National Council for Youth For Good Governance, NCYGG, has called for support for the Former Commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Kogi state and the Chairman, Diche Foundation, as he declares his ambition for the senatorial race.
‎
‎The National President of the NCYGG, Yunusa Aliyu, who made the call in a statement on Saturday in Anyingba, said that the council would fully support the political ambition of Dr. Tim Nda Diche.
‎
‎According to Aliyu, as the umbrella body of Youths organisations in Kogi East, the NCYGG will do its best to give the former commissioner the necessary support he needs to win his election come 2027.
‎
‎“We join the women, youths and elders from Bassa, Dekina, Ankpa, Ofu, Ibaji, Igalamela-Odolu, Omala, Olamaboro, Idah, and entire Kogi state, to congratulate the youthful friendly ex-commissioner who has been kind and generous to the younger generation, on his ambition for the senatorial position.
‎
‎“Over the years, there has been a poor representation and this has been a growing concern for the people of Kogi East and we must definitely work hard to effect change this time around”,he said.
‎
‎”This is a clarion call on the entire delegates of All progressives Congress, APC from Kogi East not to support or vote blindly come 2026 during APC Delegates state Congress.
‎
‎“Now, we will support Dr. Tim Nda Diche to make sure he become candidate of APC senatorial candidate, and also ensure that we support him to win the General election come 2027″.
‎
‎The group said that the action taken was in recognition of Dr. Tim Nda Diche’s tireless efforts he had put in place severally to provide quality leadership and good governance in Kogi East and human services to humanity, especially to youths, women and elders.
