The Murphy Oyefeso Foundation (MOF) is set to kickoff the pilot phase of the SKILL-UP NIGERIA PROJECT (School-Based Program) in North Central (Abuja) at JSS Gwarimpa on Friday, 3rd October 2025, targeting JSS 3 students.

The program will run for four weeks in October. This is to empower JSS3 students (young leaders and innovators) with soft skills and Leadership Development to prepare them for their transition to Senior Secondary School and for future opportunities with the measurable outcomes of seeing Students gaining self-confidence, leadership skills, and teamwork ability.

Also, for Schools to have model(s) for integrating soft skills into club activities. The overall objectives of this project is to:Train at least 400 students on soft skills and leadership development.
Provide structured mentorship through MOF volunteers and facilitators.

Develop student-led projects within schools as a practical application.
Pilot the program in Abuja schools to evaluate for scaling across FCT.

Through MOF, The founder with his team has launched several initiatives aimed at community empowerment.
Skills acquisition programs: These programs are designed to empower artisans, skilled youth, and aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools and skills needed to grow and thrive.
Educational support: The foundation provides support in the form of soft skills training, mentorship, and support for education.

Community surveys: The Murphy Oyefeso Foundation conducts surveys, such as one on the Federal Government’s Skills Acquisition Program in Basic Education, to gather data and engage with educational stakeholders.
