The immediate past Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Mathew Kolawole has expressed his profound gratitude to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo, over his appointment as Executive Director, Kogi Oil Producing Development Commission, described the Governor as a shining light, illuminating the dark areas of the State’s development.

The Speaker in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja described his appointment as one coming from a heart of Gold, explaining that what manner of man is Gov. Ododo who rewards efforts even it is list expected.

Prince Kolawole explained that he is not taking the appointment for granted, promised to justify the appointment like never before to prove that his choice is not misplaced but one aimed at total transformation of the State.

The highly elated Executive Director expressed his profound gratitude to Gov. Ododo, described him as a rewarder of hardwork, said his choice by former Gov Yahaya Bello as Governor was one that was well thought out and has made the State a cynosure for unity and development

Similarly, Prince Kolawole described former Gov Yahaya Bello as a leader who is passionate about Kogi’s development, promised his unalloyed loyalty now and always.

The former Speaker added that the former Governor will go down in history as the builder of modern Kogi State, insisting that history will forever remember him for laying the solid foundation for the State socio economic development.

The Former Speaker added that Gov. Ododo has remained a promise keeper, said he lives by his words, a trade mark that has remained his bond, reason why the State is witnessing peace, development and prosperity.

The former Speaker assured Gov. Ododo that the confidence reposed on him will be justified by working with other Government appointees in the Commission to actualize the laudable vision and mission of Gov. Ododo in ensuring that the State reaps the boundless opportunities abounding as an Oil Producing Area.

The Executive Director called on the people of the State to remain resolute in their support for the Governor, pointing out that so far so good, Gov. Ododo has proven to be what Kogi State needs beyond 2027.

Similarly in his appreciation for the appointment, the Executive Director expressed his thanks to Alh. Ali Bello Atimpo, the Chief of Staff as well as several others who helped in seeing to his appointment, described the destiny helpers as friends indeed and worthy team players in the administration of Gov Ododo.

He concluded by saying that the second term administration of Gov Ododo remains non negotiable, asked others to wait beyond 2031, insisting that there is no vacancy in Lugard House as Gov. Ododo remains the only choice of the people of the State in view of his outstanding performances since his assumption of office.
