Ebira Renaissance Group (ERD) happily writes to felicitate with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on the affirmation of the votes/mandate freely given to him by the Supreme Court on 23rd August, 2024.

This all important judgement reechoes the trust and confidence that Ebira people in particular and indeed ethnic groups across the state have placed on your leadership. God has good purpose for allowing this electoral victory to stand and you can’t afford to fail your people in particular and the good people of Kogi State in general.

With all the dust and distractions generated by all the legal suits dispensed off, we trust that you will work tirelessly to justify the confidence reposed in you by both the electorates and the judiciary.

It gladdens the heart of members of ERG that your leadership has sternly denounced the unwarranted attack on the person of Alhaji Muri Ajaka, the Social Democracy Party governorship candidate soon after the Supreme Court verdict. This singular act of statesmanship is civil, this is leadership and it’s highly commendable.

The ugly incidence at the Supreme Court premises is not who we are and it does not represent the generality of our people. We appeal to Alhaji Muri Ajaka and his supporters to accept the official statement from the Kogi State Government and to take the full advantage of the hands of friendship extended to them by Governor Ododo in the overall interest of Kogites.

WHEN A PLANT BLOSSOMS AND BRINGS OUT PLENTY FLOWERS WHAT NORMALLY FOLLOW IS A BOUNTIFUL HARVEST OF FRUITS.

Typical of his name, Ododo, we are confident that he is ready to bear good fruits for all to eat and be “belle full”. Let us give him the chance to execute the mandate of the people in the interest of all. The time to deliver good governance is now; the citizens of Kogi State must not give Governor Ododo any excuse to fail.

He has started well. Let the citizens give the needed allegiance and the support, and let Governor Ododo deliver on his mandate. We believe that a new Kogi State is possible under this unassuming and humane Governor Ododo.

“Anyari Iresu oiza vabe”, and may your administration be doted by progress and development for all.
