The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has urged the deputy governor of the state, Chief Edward Onoja to pick the All Progressive Congress APC nomination forms according to a source.
The governor also asked the Local Government Auditor General, Ahmed Usman Ododo, Mall. Jibrin Momoh, the Accountant General, to pick nomination form.
Others include Asiwaju Asiru Idris, Finance Commissioner, Pharm Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, Chief of Staff, Hon. Salami Ozigi Deedat, Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Engr Abubakar Gegu, Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Commissioner and Hon. Wemi Jones, Education Science and Technology Commissioner.
Others are Alhaji Yusuf Yakubu Okala, the State Auditor General, and, Hajia Fatima Buba Kabiru, Women Affairs Commissioner.
The decision was taken during the State Executive Council Meeting held at Government House on Thursday.
Recalled that the APC has begun the sale of forms in preparation for the off season Kogi State Governorship election.
The APC Governorship primaries is slated for between April and May, 2023 while the election proper comes up in November.
