Engr. Folorunsho Olafemi on Friday emerged winner of the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary election of Yagba federal constituency.
Engr. Olafemi is the son of the former speaker of Kogi State, Chief Clarance Olafemi who also served as governor of the state briefly.
He defeated Kingsley Fanwo who was former Commissioner in the cabinet of Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
However information reaching our correspondent gathered that the returning officer is yet to give him his certificate as winner of the primary election.
Supporters of Olafemi however vowed that their aspirant had won the election and therefore the returning officer must issue him his certificate.
The primary election took place in Isanlu.
