Kogi Speaker Charges Christian to Live In Harmony with others

The Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon (Prince) Matthew Kolawole has felicitated with all Kogites and Nigerians at Christmas, urging them to live in harmony with others and also show love to one another.
In a Press Statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Femi Olugbemi, the Speaker who is also the National Treasurer of the Conference of Speakers of state legislatures of Nigeria, implored Kogites to be at peace with one another now and always as taught us by Jesus Christ.
While saying that Jesus Christ was the reason for the season, the Speaker harped on the need for peaceful coexistence, saying that; “Today, we are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour and therefore, let us use this moment for deep reflection on our relationship with others. Let us do the right thing by living in harmony with others. Love should reign in our hearts always”.
The Speaker on behalf of his constituents and family wish Kogi state, residents and all Nigerians a Merry Christmas and a Properous New Year in advance.
“As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, may the joy of the Season bring peace and prosperity to all our people. Happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year”, he said.
He used the opportunity once again to appreciate Governor Yahaya Bello, His Wife, Hajia Rashida Bello and other important dignitaries who graced the occasion of his wife burial in both Lokoja and Kabba, praying that God shall continue protect and guide each and everyone going into the new year.
