The wife of Kogi State Governor, Hajia Mrs. Rashida Bello had taking her personal initiative few weeks ago to  embark on a door to door campaign for President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection and all other APC candidates to add as impetus to the successful campaign of the party across the state.
However based on her vigorous campaign across the state, no fewer than 500 communities and over 300,000 thousands households have pledged their desires and readiness to reelect President Muhammadu Buhari and all other All Progressive Congress party (APC) candidates in the Saturday 16th February 2019 polls.
The pledge to reelect President Buhari is owing to the magnanimity and humanitarian gesture of the wife of Kogi State Governor her Excellency Mrs Rashida Bello who visited each of the communities during a door to door campaign for the President in the three senatorial district of the state.
The community members who trooped out in their large numbers were full of praises for the governor’s wife for coming to identify with them saying that her visit is the first time in the history where the wife of a seating governor would come down to the villages and communities to interact with them and provide succour for them.
They communities who are equally delighted that her coming was not only for election purpose, said her impact has been felt through the kind gesture of the health intervention programmes which is reaching out directly to the poor and vulnerable people in their communities.
The people who pledged that all their votes would be  for the APC from head to toe said that the reason for taking the unanimous decision is to show their appreciation for the good work of the APC led administration in the state in the past three years.
The communities say they’re all emphatic that the Governor Yahaya Bello Administration has being a huge blessing to them both in terms of health care delivery and socio-economic upliftment.
They specially prayed for the governor’s wife for long life and better days in office and for God to grant her husband another tenure in office to consolidate  on the good works he has been doing for the people.
Some of the communities visited by the governors wife and her team are Ganaja village, Gidan Bassa, Giriyan, iyara, Ayetoro gbeda , Ejiba, Idaho, olamaboro and many others.
