Two Kidnappers have been apprehended in Ekparakwa community of Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
The hoodlums were reported to have kidnapped and robbed one Mr. Godwin Udo from Mbon Ebre, Oruk Anam Local Government Area at his business premises , Ikot Abasi Road, Ekparakwa.
After kidnapping the victim, the hoodlums also carted away goods ( 14 bundles of Cameroonn zinc) that is worth N1.5 millions from the victim’s store. The Kidnappers then drove away with the kidnapped victim and the stolen items in their brand new Sienna Vehicle.
Meanwhile on their way from the operation the local security outfit set up by the executive chairman of Oruk Anam Local Government, Rt. Hon.(Dr) Kingsley Frankly intercepted the vehicle.
Some of the things recovered from the kidnappers vehicle include some ammunitions and spiritual ointment.
The DPO of Ekparakwa division of the Nigerian police force had taken charge of the case while angry mobs set the kidnappers vehicle ablaze.
