KOGI@30; Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, eulogises Kogi assembly, says the remains a Progressive and Stabilising fulcrum of any Administration

As we celebrate joyously the creation of Kogi state 30 years ago, although, with a hopeful mind for a greater future, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has expressed his heartfelt felicitation to the Rt Hon. Speaker, Principal Officers, Member’s from Yagba Federal Constituency and all members of Kogi State House of Assembly on the auspicious occasion of 30th year anniversary.
Asiwaju stated eloquently that Kogi State House of Assembly under the leadership of Rt Hon.Prince Kolawole Matthew remain one of the most vibrant, proactive, independent and result oriented, owing to their immense contribution to the Greater Kogi project, with progressive bills that’s geared towards socio-economic and political development of the state.
In his words,” The Assembly remain a stabilising fulcrum and a check and balances arm of Government whose impact can’t be overemphasised nor jettisoned in the chronicle of accomplishments by the Governor Yahaya Bello led New Direction Administration. On these auspicious day, I celebrate the House and all the Honourable members for their commendable effort in making laws that meet developmental demands”.
The Honourable Commissioner specifically appreciates the principal officers of the House, Members from Yagba Federal constituency and the entire members of the Assembly for their complimentary effort and synergy with the Executive arm in delivering dividends of democracy to Kogites without rancour nor division. They are House of progressives, patriot and quetissential leaders of note.
He also appreciates the swift and smooth working relationship with the House Chairman on Finance and that of Public accounts, saying it would have been a hard task to achieve anything worthwhile, if not for their committed disposition and sincere cooperation towards improving the fiscal status of the state.
He said, as we celebrate 30th years of Kogi state existence, its on record the present Assembly is part of the appreciable sucess recorded so far, which is a revered legacy for generations to come, praying that God will grant them the required wisdom, understanding, sound health and wherewithal to finish strong and greater opportunity to serve humanity.
