‘Arise PDP’ says the foresightedness of the present leadership and NWC under Prince Uche Secondus led National Chairman towards inauguration of women think tank group is capable winning more supports to the party towards 2023 general elections and the subsequent ones.
The group bare it’s mind through protem media officer Umar Mohammed ,saying the current leadership under the Party’s National Chairman have genuine plans to wrestle power from the APC in 2023.
He described women as a veritable tool towards achieving sane leadership and followership in a political system.
He says the constitution of National Women’s lobby action committee will aside given the women a sense of belonging, will also work round the clock to ensure a very strong mobilisation and mechanism to drive all round supports to the PDP.
Mohammed also commended the choice of the former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State ,Senator Abiodun Olujimi who has a large heart and strong will to lead such a reactionary body.
‘This will also toe the line of the global desire of 35% affirmative action towards the welfare of our womenfolk in governance and administration.
‘It is only PDP that had taken women towards the stage that had realised 35% affirmative action for our women, and will repeat the same thing when it return to power in 2023.’
‘Women in our society are the most vulnerable and desire adequate attention and special orientation and re-orientation in all ramifications.’
He says the role of women in our political evolution cannot be down played or over emphasised, towards the preparation for another political adventure in 2023.
He also urged Nigeria women to use the goodwill of Prince Uche Secondus led PDP to redouble their support towards winning the 2023 general elections.
