Ajaokuta Steel Township was agog when Ajaokuta Youth Forum honours Director of Finance, Local government and chieftaincy affairs, Sanni Abdulraheem for his Philanthropic gesture.
In a statement by Sea Care Foundation MediaTeam said the Sole Administrator of Ajaokuta steel Company, (ASCL), Engr. Ismaila Abdul Akaaba, Isah Abdulazeez, a banker and Engr. Sanni Abdulganiyu amongst others graced the occasion.
The Director who was represented by Mall. Iliyasu Sanni thanked the entire youth forum for finding him worthy of the award, and emphasized that recognition like this will always encourage him to do more for the people with Allah’s continued guidance and protection.
At the occasion, the Executive Chairman, Ajaokuta LGC who was a special guest of honour was ably represented by his Vice Chairperson, Hon. Salamatu Salami.
Comrade M’j A Ahmed, at the occasion presented a paper titled: ‘Effects Of Peace And Unity In OUR Society; A Case Study Of Ajaokuta LGA.’
Other dignitaries include Hajiya Bilikisu, former Hon. Commissioner of Women Affairs, Kogi State, top ASCL management staff, Representatives of ASCL Senior and Junior staff Unions, Community leaders, Ajaokuta Women Association, Township youths and other well wishers.
