Kwara state government says it will adopt the use of modern technology in building toilets to end open defecation in the state.
Senior Special Assistant to the state governor on Community Intervention ,Mr Oyin- Zubair made the disclosure while Speaking with Journalists in Ilorin.
He said the state government will borrow samples of modern toilets build from other countries .
Oyin-Zubair said the state government has already commenced the construction of toilets in strategic locations across the state.
He commended the efforts put in place by the federal government to reduce open defecation in the state and the country to the minimum.
The governors aide explained that the State government will commence enlightenment camping on the need for the residents to shun filty habit that will make them spend their hard earned money on medication.
