The people of Koton-Karfe community, in Kogi Local Government Area, have lauded the immediate past Administrator of Kogi Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa on his numerous achievements within the years he served.
They gave the commendations on Wednesday 9th September, 2020, at Lokoja, the State capital when they paid him a thank you visit.
Speaking at the event a youth Leader in the area and Special Assistant on Youth Affairs to Rt. Hon. Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Isah Ada Abu, expressed delight to God on the caliber of person he has given to them as their leader.
Ada Abu, stated that since Democratic dispensation, the people have not had it so good as experienced today, through their former Administrator, Hon. Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa.
He stated that his numerous achievements in Agriculture, infrastructure, Health, education, youth/women empowerment, security, human capital development and Igu Fishing festival are all evidence that he is ready to serve the people and urged him to keep it up.
Also speaking, Alhaji Zakari Gegu Beki and Mall. Abdulsalam Umar, thanked their former Administrator on his huge efforts and sacrifices.
They expressed hope that with the level the former Administrator is always reaching out to his people, he will go far in politics.
They used the medium to call for his support in the Forthcoming LG elections in the State.
Responding, Hon. Chief Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa, thanked the people of Kogi LG, for their usual supports, prayers, solidarity and honored accorded him.
Barr. Tanko is also the Senior Special Assistant on LG and Chieftaincy Affairs to Kogi State Governor used the opportunity to enlighten them of the numerous programmes he has for the people, for the betterment of the people of Kogi LG if elected in as Executive Chairman.
He urge them to embrace Agriculture which is one of his agenda, because it is the way to go.
He urged the people not to relent as plans are ongoing to assist them in various programmes of the government.
Barr. Tanko has since indicated interest to run for the office of Kogi LG Chairman slated to hold this year.
