The Former Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Alfa Imam and his supporters has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Opposition the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The former Speaker joined the PDP on Saturday in Lokoja at a town hall meeting held in his Ward.
The former Speaker and hundreds of his supporters dumped the ruling APC, amidst cheers from PDP bigwigs.
Present at the defection of the former Speaker was the PDP Senatorial District Candidate, Hon. T.J .Yusuf, the PDP House of Representatives Flagbearer for Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Barr. Shaba Ibrahim.
The PDP Flagbearers assured the former Speaker of inclusion urged him to join in the emancipation of the people from the oppressive tendencies of the APC led administration.
