Jakadan Sokoto and former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has sent a message of felicitation to Sultan Muhammad Abubakar Sa’ad 111 on his fifteen eventful years on the spiritual throne.
Idris who is a title holder in the sultanate, described the spiritual leader as a detrabalised enigma, who has continued to preach peace, unity, developement and progress among Nigerians irrespective of creed , religion or extraction.
He said his contributions both to the religious, economic and political developement of Nigeria and outside the shores of the country is tremendous,as he had severally acted as both torch bearer and adviser of government on all issues that boarders on both regional and national life.
The former Govenor maintained that his strides in that regard has contributed immesurably to religious tolerance,sectional differences and doused tribal colorations to all issues.
He prayed that the President- general, Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic affairs(NSCIA),will be bestowed with more years to continue to contribute his quota both to Nigeria and the entire globe.
He used the opportunity to extend his well wishes to entire sultanate,saying his reign had brought a lot of development to the revered kingdom.
