The founder of Musa Wada Foundation, Comrade Musa Wada has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of the present National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, as the board chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
Wada who is also a strong member of APC in the North Central said that the appointment of the APC National Chairman is yet another appointment that showed that the President meant well for Nigeria as a nation.
He said that the appointment “is commendable after many years of the failure of the successive governments to inaugurate the governing boards for the different aviation agencies” stressing that, “this appointment will open a new chapter for the country’s aviation sector and it is my belief that the new board chairman will bring to fore his leadership acumen in repositioning FAAN for better service “.
“As we are all aware aviation sector is one of the sectors that is key to the present government and getting the leadership of the sector right will go a long way in bringing back the lost glory of the sector and it is my firm belief that Dr Ganduje will do his best in changing the fortunes of that sector “, Comrade Wada maintained.
Speaking further Wada declared that, “It is my firm belief that the new board chairman of FAAN will be committed to the vision of FAAN “To be amongst the best airport groups in the world” and its mission “to develop and profitably manage customer-centric airport facilities for safe, secure and efficient carriage of passengers and goods at world-class standards of quality”.
