Senator Dino Melaye said he received with a greatly shocked by and resentful of the attack which occurred at the historic Tawari community especially at this season when many people are spendng enjoyable time with families and friends.
in a press statement issued on Sunday he noted that such an act of terrorism is an attack on the whole of our civilization and values, which I resolutely condemn.
“I am deeply saddened and outraged by the news of the tragic killings and destruction of properties in Tawari community recently. The uncivilized barbaric activities of the said unknown armed men is unacceptable. It is a total manifestation of satanic tendencies which must be fought by all.
“My thoughts go to the Aguma of Tawari, Alhaji Alhassan Idris Yusuf Tawari and the entire community on this irreparable loss and unspeakable pain and hardship,” he stressed
Melaye charged government at all levels to stand up to their responsibility in the protection of lives and properties of our citizens as well as ensuring that the perpetrators of this ungodly act are apprehended and brought to book.
