The Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar will on Sunday April 4th turbaned former Governor of Kogi state,Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as Jakadan Sokoto.
In a reelase signed by the former Governor says the event will take place at the palace of the spiritual leader in Sokoto.
Former Governor ibrahim Idris enjoined all invited guests to be sitted by 10am on Sunday to grace the occassion.
Dignataries expected at the occassion include the chief host and special guest of honor, Executive Governor of Sokoto State,Rt Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and many invited guests.
Alhaji Ibrahim Idris started his early business adventure in Sokoto and had contributed alot to both the economic, religious and political developement of the State.
As Jakadan Sokoto (Ambassador),he will be one of the strong elements in the Sultanate charged with the day to day runnings of the famous Sokoto caliphate.
