Protest roacks Fed. University Lokoja over death of a female student.

Students of the Federal University Lokoja on Friday morning protested at Adankolo campus over the death of a female student in a motor accident.
It was reliably gathered that the accident occured at about 6 pm on Thursday evening when the 300 level female student by name Mary Jane, of Geography department was returning from Felele campus back town.
According to an eye witnessed account she was hit by a J5 motor along felele road at about 6 pm on a commercial bike while returning from school after her lectures
This is said to be the second death recorded from the same department.
Unfortunately, her death prompted the demonstration by the students on Friday morning calling for urgent action from the management of the school.
The students appealed to the authority to as a matter of urgency to construct a speed bumps with aimed of minimizing recurring accidents in the high way.
They also call for adequate security in the school community as to contained any form of crime and criminalities from those who may wants to take advantage of the area.
